TAMPA, FLA. - D4COST has produced a Green Building Estimating Library on CD containing cost data from 59 LEED and sustainable projects. The CD contains square-footage cost information on projects ranging from commercial, industrial, office and educational (including numerous schools that are certified LEED for New Construction, or LEED-NC) to medical, recreational, religious, residential, government and civic.

The CD also includes D4COST Express software. Used by architects, contractors and subcontractors, D4COST Express enables users to build their own historical project library using their company's project data. Projects archived into D4COST Express can be cost modeled instantly and precisely using D4COST's exclusive cost escalators and location modifiers. New projects can be further modeled by changing the square footage or adjusting each line item within the project for added precision.

"D4COST recognized that building sustainable-designed buildings is the future," said David Castelli, D4COST president. D4COST began archiving LEED/sustainable projects over five years ago and placing the information into D4COST.

The CD is available for $49.95 from the D4COST Web site at www.bookworkz.com.

Introduced in 1990 through Design Cost Data magazine, D4COST is a conceptual estimating software and archiving project system. Additional information is available at www.D4COST.com or from Castelli at 800/533-5680 or [email protected].
