AMBLER, PA — Bradford White Corporation, a manufacturer of water heaters, boilers, and storage tanks, marked the holiday season with a series of charitable contributions, employee volunteer efforts, and workforce development initiatives supporting communities in Pennsylvania and Michigan.
The company’s year-end efforts focused on food insecurity, community health, and skilled trades awareness—areas that align with Bradford White’s long-standing commitment to improving quality of life beyond its products.
Employee-Led Fundraising Supports Community Health
In Middleville, Michigan, Bradford White hosted its first-ever 5K Against Breast Cancer, bringing together employees and community members to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and research. The event raised more than $2,500 and is expected to become an annual tradition.
“The products we manufacture at Bradford White improve safety, comfort and quality of life; and yet, there’s always more we can do to support individuals and families in our area,” said Neal Heyman, Senior Director of Marketing at Bradford White. “The organizations we’ve partnered with demonstrate a commitment to community uplift, and we’re thankful for the chance to work with them during the holiday season and beyond.”
Addressing Food Insecurity Through Donations and Volunteerism
Bradford White continued its partnership with Philabundance, the Philadelphia region’s largest hunger-relief organization, with a $15,000 donation—the company’s largest to date. The contribution supported the Camp Out for Hunger food drive and was supplemented with boxes of donated food.
In addition to financial support, Bradford White employees volunteered at Philabundance headquarters, sorting food boxes destined for local seniors and families.
Supporting Holiday Meals for Local Families
The manufacturer also served as a sponsor of the annual Ron Jaworski Turkey Drive, continuing a multi-year commitment to the initiative. Bradford White employees joined other volunteers to distribute turkeys directly to families across the Philadelphia area, helping ensure more households could enjoy a holiday meal.
Giving Back to Families in Recovery
Bradford White collected toys for Libertae, a Bucks County, Pennsylvania-based rehabilitation facility supporting women in addiction recovery. The toys were distributed to children of women enrolled in the program during the holiday season.
Investing in the Next Generation of Skilled Trades
Beyond seasonal giving, Bradford White continues to invest in long-term workforce development through its Industry Forward® program. The initiative supports nonprofits and technical institutions that promote skilled trades careers.
As part of Discover Manufacturing Month, Bradford White recently welcomed local students to its West Michigan manufacturing facility, offering hands-on exposure to modern manufacturing environments and highlighting career paths in the skilled trades.
