WOODRIDGE, IL — With its own record-breaking number of riders (topping more than 60), Team Danze was a proud participant in the 2014 Children’s Hospital Colorado Courage Classic. The Courage Classic is a 3-day, 200-mile bicycle tour, which climbs over 15,000 vertical feet while riding through the Colorado Rocky Mountains to raise money for The Children’s Hospital. Team Danze lived up to its core value of being a positive contributor to the community and raised nearly $40,000.
Participants of Team Danze included senior leadership and employees, friends, partners and customers from throughout the country. In specific, several plumbing wholesalers and other partners rode on the team, including APR Supply, Mountainland Supply, Crawford Supply, Manchester Winnelson, KB Plumbing, E-Improvement, Fahrenheit Mechanical, Olson Plumbing & Heating, Cogliano Plumbing, Builder Home Site, Dynamic Plumbing, Mother Hubbard Custom Cabinetry (John Petrie, NKBA’s current president), Ponte-Mellor and Mary Jo Martin from The Wholesaler.
“This is the 6th year in a row Team Danze has participated in the Courage Classic,” said Jeff Pratt, senior vice president of sales for Danze. “The Denver Children’s Hospital is a cause we all feel strongly about as it provides critical care to thousands of infants and children annually. The Classic allows us to ride through some of our country’s most beautiful landscapes and raise awareness and support for an incredible cause.”
