Rich Diesel and his wife Marci, winners of Taco’s “Just Your Speed!” promotion, fulfilled a dream recently when they strapped in behind the wheel of a 650 HP stock car at Richard Petty Driving Experience in Las Vegas, NV.
Rich won the adrenalin-pumping opportunity, hitting speeds in excess of 150 MPH on the track while racing against Taco Trainer John Barba.
Diesel’s purchases of Taco three-speed circulators turned into a once-in-a-lifetime high speed thrill ride he and Barba will ever forget. Five second place winners from around the country received iPads.
Taco’s promotional effort encouraged installers to buy “00” 3-speed or variable speed circulators, each with a $5 rebate. Every entry went into a drawing. The first place winner, Diesel, won a trip for two to Richard Petty Driving Experience.
Joining the Diesels and John Barba were sales representative Kim Ziner from Emerson-Swan, and Taco’s VP of Eastern Regional Sales, Ken Andersen.
