GRAND JUNCTION, CO. — Two years ago, Blue Collar Success Group founder Kenny Chapman decided that there was a huge lack of current, tangible sales and marketing resources in the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electric (PHCE) industry. While other industries were sharing and discussing cutting-edge concepts, there wasn’t a place where business owners could go to know what is really working, right now, in today’s ever-changing environment.

"This is a time of exciting technological advancements that could really be helping our industry when applied correctly," states Chapman, who also authored the book, The Six Dimensions of C.H.A.N.G.E. and will be releasing his new book in 2016 entitled The Ultimate Sales Accelerator. Chapman added, “At The Blue Collar Success Group, we focus specifically on the relationship between sales and marketing, and the huge impact those two elements have on the success of a business. We wanted to bring our knowledge, along with that of other industry experts, to our members as well as non-members.”

As an award-winning PHCE trainer and consultant, Chapman noticed that many business owners were searching for specific sales training and marketing techniques that had proven success rates and could be easily implemented into their businesses. “I learn so much from innovative groups and associations that I belong to outside of the contracting space, that I wanted to be able to share these methods with fellow PHCE business owners.”

One of the unique aspects of the Sales and Marketing Intensive is that you don’t have to be a member of a Blue Collar Success Group coaching club to attend SAMI. Also, this event is kept to a small number of attendees so it doesn’t have the “huge conference” feel; it’s meant to be more interactive and personalized.

Last year’s SAMI event was held in San Diego, and this year the event has moved coasts to Tampa, Florida. The event is being held February 11-12, 2016 at the Tampa Marriott Waterside. In addition to Kenny Chapman, Ellen Rohr, Josh Nelson, and Brian Kaskavalciyan will be the featured speakers.
