Made in America

We’re celebrating the Made in America movement by U.S. manufacturers. Products that might have been made abroad a decade ago are now being manufactured here. In a feature entitled “Made In The USA,” Time magazine stated, “the U.S. has seen its manufacturing growth outpace that of other advanced nations, with some 500,000 jobs created in the last three years.” The CEO of one major mechanical contracting firm has noted that it's as economical to manufacture in the Southeast United States as it is in Asia.

In a feature entitled “Made In The USA,” Time magazine stated, “the U.S. has seen its manufacturing growth outpace that of other advanced nations, with some 500,000 jobs created in the last three years.”

The CEO of one major mechanical contracting firm has noted that it's as economical to manufacture in the Southeast United States as it is in Asia. But the “reshoring” trend isn’t limited to the southeast. Contractor magazine has visited plants all over America, the most recent being the grand opening of the Watts Water Technologies lead-free brass foundry in Franklin, N.H. American manufacturing is back.
