    THIS SCALE CONTROL SYSTEM is installed on the cold water line prior to the installation of a tankless heater. As water passes through, a small amount of scale control product is dissolved into the water stream, preventing limescale formation, providing corrosion control on wetted surfaces and extending the life of the tankless water heating unit. No electricity is required. Cartridges need replacement on average every 10 to 12 months.
