Ariston/NTI Boilers Wins Outstanding Business Partnership Award

This recognition celebrates NTI Boilers’ commitment to the integration of newcomers into the workforce.

SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA — NTI Boilers has been honored with the Outstanding Business Partnership Award from Saint John Newcomer Centre. This recognition celebrates NTI Boilers’ commitment to the integration of newcomers into the workforce. 

NTI Boilers was selected for this award by the SJNC, a non-profit organization, for its proactive approach to creating a workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered. Plant Director at NTI Boilers, Fahad Khan, accepted the award on behalf of NTI Boilers at a ceremony held at the end of April. 

“We are truly honored to receive the Outstanding Business Partnership Award,” said Fahad Khan. “We are incredibly proud of our partnership with the Saint John Newcomer Centre and the opportunity to contribute to a stronger, more inclusive community.” 

Mentorship and Training

As part of its efforts to foster a supportive work environment, NTI Boilers has implemented a range of initiatives designed to provide mentorship and offer the training needed to help newcomers thrive. Saint John, located in New Brunswick, has seen a dramatic population surge in recent years. The population swelled to more than 78,000 in 2024, the highest level since the early 1980s. More than 2,900 residents relocated to Saint John in 2024, reflecting an annual growth rate of 3.9 percent.

“We are grateful for our ongoing partnership with NTI Boilers,” said Director of the Saint John Newcomer Centre, Mohamed Bagha. “Their commitment to creating a workplace where everyone belongs is a model for other businesses.” 

Workforce Development

The Saint John Newcomer Centre’s Outstanding Business Partnership Award honors companies that demonstrate leadership and outstanding contributions to promoting the integration and success of newcomers in the workforce. NTI Boilers’ approach to diversity and inclusion serves as a benchmark for other businesses looking to create more inclusive environments that benefit both employees and the broader community.
