JESSUP, MD — BAC, the world’s cooling partner, announces that Bill McQuade, BAC’s Vice President for Regulatory Affairs and Global Sustainability, is now the President-Elect of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). McQuade will officially assume the presidency on July 1, 2025.
"ASHRAE's commitment to sustainability is about more than just energy efficiency—healthy buildings, including clean drinking water are a must. It's about protecting our planet and enhancing the health and well-being of building occupants,” McQuade said. “Our goal is to not only meet today's needs but also paving the path for a healthier, and more sustainable future for all."
