Chuck Noyes installed as the 2016 President of Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington
Chuck Noyes of Noyes Air Conditioning, Inc., was installed as the 2016 President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (MCAMW) at their January monthly dinner meeting.
Chuck Noyes founded Noyes Air Conditioning (NAC) in 1983, a mid-size HVAC mechanical contractor based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Rooted in the service side of the industry, NAC offers a fully array of services from maintenance contracts to complete system renovations. Today the firm focuses mostly on energy related projects helping to make buildings more comfortable while saving owners precious dollars in reduced utility costs through the use of technologies.
As a teenager, Noyes began his career in the industry working as a parts counter clerk for a compressor remanufacturing company. In 1974, he entered Steamfitter’s Local 602 apprenticeship program and a few years after graduating became a partner in a newly formed service company, TAC-COM, Inc., where he served as both VP and service technician. Having different visions for the future than his partners, three years later he left and formed NAC. Over the years, he has been instrumental in forming several other companies, HVAC Concepts, Inc., Water Treatment Specialists, Inc. and The Remington Group, but has since sold his interests in these businesses to focus on NAC.
Noyes currently resides in Woodbine, Maryland with his wife, Linda and his children, Rob a fourth generation Steamfitter, and Jessica. He became a proud grandfather in December 2014.
