APPLE VALLEY, MN — GF Building Flow Solutions Americas announced that Chrissie Walsh, Regional Head of Environmental Sustainability, has been appointed to the Minnesota Chamber Environmental Sustainability Foundation (MCESF) Board of Directors. Her role includes providing governance support and representing the broader business community as the Foundation advances practical, results-driven sustainability initiatives. Walsh began her three-year term on Sept. 9, 2025.

“Chrissie brings an exceptional mix of technical expertise, passion, and community focus to the Foundation,” says Sydney Henderson, Environmental Sustainability Director for MCESF. “Her leadership will help advance our mission of supporting businesses in developing practical, effective solutions that drive resource optimization and move Minnesota toward a more sustainable future.”

Walsh says her work is grounded in bridging real-world systems with long-term environmental resilience. “I care deeply about sustainable action, mitigation, and innovation, and it’s evident the Minnesota Chamber values and works to enact these concepts,” she says. “As a board member, I’m eager to become more ingrained with the structures that define progress in our communities and play a pivotal role in Minnesota-based sustainable action in any way I can.”

Expanding Leadership Across Industry and Technical Groups

In addition to her new board position, Walsh is increasing her involvement with ASHRAE, serving on technical committees focused on Global Climate Change, Building Impacts, and Sustainability, as well as the Minnesota Chapter’s Sustainability Committee. She also contributes to the Plastics Pipe Institute, participating in task groups working on PEX industry-level recycling, takeback programs, and advanced recycling initiatives. Walsh maintains her long-standing professional membership with the American Meteorological Society.
